Outstanding, best in the areaI've been here twice with my girlfriend, and we will continue to come back! Service is always quick and friendly. They brought out fresh warm chips and great salsa (queso is awesome too). Dinner tastes excellent every time!Only drawback is the place is a little small, but you won't be disappointed here!

We used to love Sam Juan every week! Went in there last week and they have a book for a menu that is written so small we can’t read it! And they did away with their good combos! They are smaller like a lunch portion and this was at night we went. Barely enough to fill you up . I would hate to see their real lunch portion. Please go back to original menus and combos! We are not happy and considering finding us another mexcan restaurant!! Very unhappy!

The amount and quality of the food is amazing. The service is really great and fast, but even if it wasn't, the food is worth a wait.

Low key eatery. Generally food is good and service as well. This evening however, service was not that good and after immediately sending the inedible spinach queso dip back, we received no questions in regards to this and were charged for the item. The dip tasted and had the consistency of spinach in milk and perhaps we should have said something. We didn't, since we thought sending it back was indication enough that there was something wrong with the food.

Good food and pricing. We've never had to wait for a table. Don't let its proximity to the gas station deter you. This is a great little restaurant that's worth checking out!

ordered a soup and a beef taco with a side of chips and salsa to go. The soup came in a drinking cup with the tortilla strips in the soup. Of course the strips were completely soggy and it made it almost impossible to enjoy. The taco was okay at best

My daughter and I LOVE going for Taco Mondays. Good atmosphere, staff is nice and the food is great. Portion size is good. Order 3-4 tacos and always have some left over.

Ordered delivery (grubhub) during quarantine. I ordered taco salad, Chimichanga dinner and burittos deluxe. Requested all cheese sauce & beans on side so it wouldn't be soggy. Guess what? They didn't listen and it was all soggy and gross. Will never order there again. Two salad was nasty and no flavor. I threw it out.Don't waste your money here. Grubb was quick and followed my directions to ring bell and leave on front porch.

The BEST guacamole in Raleigh hands down! Someone told me to try the since I had been searching for authentic guacamole. OMG!!!! Now I can’t wait to bring the family and try more on the menu.

Food is good, but it's super crowded when there's a decent amount of people, fair prices.

Will never go back. Place has gone downhill. Food was cold and service was the worst ever. There are plenty of other great Mexican restaurants in the area that care about their customer service.

Some of the best dang Mexican I’ve had in a long time. Will def be coming back. Everything is FULL of flavor. Everything was prepared to perfection. We just moved to the area are so excited this place is THIS good and so close to the house. It’s a BIT more expensive than most places but it’s worth every single extra penny. The service was excellent the second we can through the door till the time left. Who ever runs this plans really knows that they’re doing. Our server was Robert.. and he was outstanding!

Excellent service and good food

Food was very good, but the salsa wasn't. Unfortunately, to me, the salsa is what makes a Mexican restaurant stand out (El Rio for example). It's the first thing you get served and it should be outstanding. I probably would go back. Dinner for two adults and two kids was $50 with 25% tip. Waiter was great.

The best Mexican Guacamole.. I get mine without jalapeños and extra tomatoes 🍅. That's all I can say. It's a must try.
